We RAD DADS

We RAD DADS is a show and community dedicated to improving the lives of Dads who put their families first. We are single fathers, men in blended families and dads of non-traditional families looking to learn the lessons of this difficult path from others who've journeyed this difficult path before us. Above all, we are caring and nurturing fathers who continually value and seek improvement for ourselves and other parents. We face our own struggles and seek to dominate them as a means to living a fulfilling life. Each week we find entertainment and value as we get to know a new guest, understand their situation, explore their struggles and learn how to navigate life's challenges through retrospect and experience. It is through this process we aim to find and share wisdom that you can employ in your own life. Please join us as we discover and distribute the value of first-hand experiences and insight told by those who are now living proof that you can too. We RAD DADS - Where wisdom meets entertainment.

Shawn Stevenson is my guest this week and he drops some major knowledge. Father of three and now married, Shawn has come light years from his own chaotic upbringing to not only be a successful father, but to be a pillar of information and a beacon for all who seek health in their own lives. Health is not as simple as exercise, it encompasses mindset, attitude, genetics and a whole host of other things. This is exactly why Shawn studies epigenetics- the entire scope of one’s health...

I’m ecstatic to have Rob Youngblood as my guest this week on the We RAD DADS podcast. Rob is currently a speaker & reality coach. He is a veteran television producer, former network news anchor & Emmy award winning SAG actor with scores of shows under his belt like MacGyver, Walker Texas Ranger, Dallas, SeaQuest, & JAG to name a few.

Rob is truly my kind of person and we absolutely hit it off. One of the best things about Rob is that he puts being a dad at the forefront of his life and continues to help others do the same. He perfectly exemplifies what a RAD DAD should be; starting with winning custody of his then 14-month-old son.
As a reality (life) coach, Rob started with a focus on communication. The results achieved are a direct result of a straightforward approach that will kick you into gear. Unlike many other types of professionals he jokingly states, “I get stuff done!” Along those lines, he has started #ownyourstory inspiring and encouraging his clients to take a long hard look in the mirror and taking accountability. Rob encourages you to fix you first.

From the rubble of a destroyed life, untimely death of family, divorce and custody battle, Rob took a hard look in the mirror and decided rightly to fix the one problem in his life - himself.

Learn more about Rob HERE

Please join us for the Mullet wearing cowboy hitman, Getting his butt kicked by Chuck Norris with Eric Estrada, Carlton Heston’s spandex wearing mullet-ponytail merman son. Join us for my guest this week Shane Ramer. Shane is a father a husband, an alcoholic and the host of Sober Guy Radio podcast. Shane has a lot of excellent information and drops a ton of nuggets in this episode. We discuss his winding road to sobriety and his tactics to help anyone discover their own path.

I have found that alcohol is a major catalyst with single parents. We all rely on something to make us feel better about our situation and often we can over-indulge. Many times we don’t even recognize our own folly until we are in over our heads.

Shane does a great job explaining his path and methods which have helped him attain a place in life and family he would’ve otherwise never known. I’m so very happy to call Shane a friend and furthermore I’m honored to introduce him to you.

Join us for sober alcoholics, Streetbike Tommy, RAD, the mailroom and an epiphany brought on by his daughter in the wee hours of the morning and a bible in the road. Truly a powerful episode and I’m so excited to have Shane join us.

Jesse Foster is our guest this week and he has quite a resume of gathering wisdom from dads of all backgrounds. Jesse is the host of the Father Nation podcast which has over 150 episodes. Once becoming a father himself, Jesse wanted to expand his knowledge on the subject and proceeded to launch Father Nation in order to capitalize on the wisdom of fathers everywhere… sound familiar? Being exposed to that kind of knowledge, he has some great takeaways which he shares with us this week.

Jesse has an interesting backstory as well. Early on he lived and worked in Kazakstan and Kyurgstan teaching English. After a failed attempt at self-employment, he found himself relying on the generosity of others to get by. It was then he decided to 10x his life with the inspiration of Grant Cardone.

Jesse now WORKS for Mr. Cardone after some massive action of his own! Check out his epic story of overcoming in a BIG way and learn the 3 roles that fathers need to play in their own lives. Please welcome my guest this week, Anthony Hayes. Anthony is a VERY busy dad with multiple engagements such as authoring a total of 3 books, blogging, hosting his own podcast and is an integral part of some very active communities online. Not that that is enough, Anthony also works full time.

CLICK HERE to leave a Rating & Review on iTunes

Talk about dichotomy! Anthony is a father to a darling little girl named Violet and consequently, runs a blog called “The Daddy Daughter Diaries” wherein he talks about being a new dad.

His book “The Science of Being” draws together much of his struggles in life which are centered around a debilitating diagnosis of clinical depression. Many are never treated; much less diagnosed, however, Anthony wasn’t going to let this stop him. Added to this his podcast “Me, Myself and I” chronicles his positive mindset shift and how it impacts his daily life for the better.

There’s so much more I’m blown away. Anthony truly is a machine and an example of a RAD DAD making things happen!
